Anti-corrosion roller chain, in accordance with the requirements of ISO DIN 8187. Made in Japan.
A roller chain is a series of bearings connected by meshes (plates), great versatility and durability in environments with a lot of dust, oil, water, greases, etc ... Roller chains develop a synchronous power transmission, without slippage, and the effectiveness of the transmission does not depend on the transmitted mechanical stress.
The Neptune chain is a Tsubaki chain that has gone through a special surface treatment process. The link plates, bushings and bearing bolts have a special two-layer coating that is applied to provide maximum protection from operating or environmental conditions. (The presillas are SUS301). Neptune rollers have a special coating designed to withstand corrosive conditions, as well as the severe dynamic contact that occurs between the roller and the scogwheel.
This chain can be used in applications subjected to alkaline cleaning and in environments exposed to seawater, acid rain and other adverse weather conditions. This chain does not contain any chemically hazardous substances such as hexavalent chromium, lead, cadmium and mercury, as regulated by RoHS√. The power in kilowatts coincides with that corresponding to the BS chain, with a working temperature range of: -10°C to +150°C. Above +60°C special lubrication is required for high temperatures. Of course, the BS Lambda Neptune™ chain is also available.
