The ECO-VE-COMBI control and protection panels are designed to protect electric vehicle charging stations according to the ITC-BT-52 directive.

The protection panel is equipped with protection against both permanent and transient surges in the electrical network.

Transient rise protection protects against electrical discharges filtered through the grid due to a thunderstorm and lightning strikes or manoeuvre of transformers that supply the grid. This protection derives this discharge to the ground connection preventing it from reaching the charging station. If the protection is activated, red indicators will be displayed on the device in addition to preventing reconnection. If so, it will be necessary to change the transient protection cartridge by firmly pulling it and replacing it with a new one. The permanent protection protects against voltage rises in the network greater than 275 V according to the EN 50550 standard, limiting the operation of the equipment and preventing a voltage higher than it from reaching the charging station.
