Mechanical speed variator with which the speed of rotation can be varied by means of the lateral steering wheel, to be coupled to motors with size B5 size 112 flange . Variable speed drive output shaft Ø28 and flange Ø250mm.

Mechanical speed reducer variator , with planetary discs, manually operated by means of a steering wheel, to be coupled to motors with a type B5 flange and size 112.
Mechanical gear reducers-variators , manufactured with special advanced technology, which makes them especially adapted for work in the handling, ceramic, packaging, chemical, textile, food, machine tool, automatic production and assembly lines industries, and in general, in those where speed regulation is required.
Its main characteristics are the following:
- Continuous regulation field 1:5.3 carried out throughout the range with respect to the input speed.
- Speed constant ±0.5% at maximum speed and ±1% at minimum speed.
- Indistinct direction of rotation with matching entry and exit.
- Quiet and smooth operation.
- Good sizing to ensure long life even with continuous service and full load.
- Torque increase, up to two times the nominal at minimum speed.
- High starting torque.
- High performance, approximately 84% at maximum speed.

It is important to note that this type of mechanical variator requires maintenance, the amount of lubricating oil must be checked and that they cannot be regulated when stopped. If an attempt is made to regulate the variator when stopped, the planetary gear system will become misaligned, it is not possible to work under these conditions, the regulator will overheat and, if this situation continues over time, it will cause a serious breakdown. Please note that this type of incident is not covered by the warranty.
