Switched contact that signals the state of the circuit breaker in test mode and due to electrical trips (overloads, short circuits and through the SHT or UVT coils). It never acts for manual activations.

The alarm contact allows immediate indication of circuit breaker tripping due to overload, short circuit, shunt trip, or undervoltage trip conditions. It is very useful in automated plants where operators must be informed about changes in the electrical distribution system. This switch has a closed contact when the device is automatically tripped, that is, this contact does not work when the switch is manually operated.
Its contact is open when the circuit breaker is reset.

This device is only valid for mounting on LS (LG) brand molded case circuit breakers.
